APPLICATION

Provide rapid disintegration in a wide range of oral solid dosage formulations and processes. Especially in the following areas:

  • Provide rapid disintegration in wide range of oral solid dosage formulations and processes.
  • The optimum binder for solid preparations, suitable for wet granulation, dry granulation, direct compression and fluidized bed granulation.
  • For quick release and anhydrous preparations drugs with poor water solubility, water sensitivity and poor compressibility.
  • Improves compressibility, adhesion and hardness in tablets.
    Improves dissolution and drug release.
  • Used as coating agent of active pharmaceutical ingredient enhance drug stability.
  • Used as suspension stabilizer, increases the suspension stability or oral liquid preparations.
  • Used as solubilizer to increase the solubility and bioavailability of insoluble drug preparation.

PACKING AND STORAGE

  • Povidone K complies to USP-NF/Ph Eur./IP/BP.
  • Packed in 25 kg or 50 kg fibre or plastic drum, inner lined with double polyethylene bag.
  • Store in dry place at room temperature.
